Cheers to the weekend! This week actually felt like it went by pretty quick over here. I’ve started to get some catering orders from our special holiday menu at work, so it’s been extra fun & festive getting to make mini chicken pot pies and kugel cups all day at work. This weekend I’m looking forward to finally seeing The Theory of Everything or Wild (I can’t decide!), jamming out at a holiday jazz concert & ice skating in Philly, and making these and drinking this on Sunday with Allie & Raven at our annual holiday-let’s-wear-sweatpants-and-watch-love-actually-hangout. Hopefully you’ll be doing, eating, and drinking something festive this weekend too! In case you need some inspiration, here’s a deliciously Christmas-y cocktail that Kevin came up with last Friday. Blackberry Gin Fizz
makes 1 drink
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 lime, juiced
2 oz gin (We used Rogue Spruce Gin and really enjoyed it!)
1 oz club soda
1 sprig rosemary
1. Muddle blackberries, sugar, and lime juice in the bottom of your glass. Stir in the gin and top off with club soda. Add ice and garnish with rosemary sprig.
